Operation Anaconda - Track to Kill
Afghanistan, 2002. US Navy Seals attempt to locate Taliban presence in the mountains North of Farabad.
Background
Afghanistan, 2002. Following the successful capture of the Farabad Internation Airport this morning, we now have the support of the local Afghani Nationals, and they are being trained and prepared to deploy to the region in support of our forces here. While they are being prepared for deployment, we have been re-deployed to the mountains North of Farabad to track Taliban movements in the area. Our utlimate goal being to locate the Taliban stronghold. Once we have located their stronghold the 101st Airborne and Afghani National as part of a joint task force will strike at the stronghold.
Mission
As members of US Navy Seals, we are tasked with placing trackers on Taliban logistics vehicles in the mountains North of Farabad. Following the successful completion of this objective, we will strike at their Anti-Air capability in the mountains improving out Air Wing's capability to operate safely in the region.
Objectives
- Locate 3 Taliban logisitcs vehicles in the AO
- Place IR grenades on the trucks for UAV tracking
- Locate and destroy 2 Anti-Air positions in the mountains
