Operation Anaconda - Duty Free
Afghanistan, 2002. US Navy Seals seek assistance from local allies to take the Farabad International Airport ahead of the main US force's arrival.
Background
Afghanistan, 2002. US High Command has deemed it necessary to get a full American division of boots on the ground, but in order to do this we first need a staging point. The Farabad Internation Airport has been chosen as the staging point. Following the failed attempt to strike a deal with "Tariq" and his unfortunate death during the raid for his rescue, we have struck a deal with some of the pro-Democratic forces he was aligned with. In exchange for their support in the region, they have asked us to break out some of their men currently being held at a Taliban detention center just outside of Farabad central. Upon successful rescue and return of their men, they will provide the numbers required to take the Farabad International Airport. If we are unsuccessful in acquiring their assistance the task to take the Airport remains, we'll just have to get creative in how we accomplish this.
Mission
As members of US Navy Seals, we are tasked with making contact with breaking out captured members of the pro-Democratic Afghani national forces from a Talibad held compound. On succesful return of their men, the Afghani forces have agreed to support us in the capture of the Farabad International Airport.
Objectives
- Break the friendly Afghani forces out of the Taliban Detention Center
- Return the forces safely to their camp
- Take and hold the Farabad International Airport
